Women's Basketball Rolls to 80-65 Win over Louisiana-Lafayette Fogelman Arena was home sweet home for the Tulane women's basketball team, as the Green Wave returned from a three-game road swing to post a 80-65 win over Louisiana-Lafayette Wednesday. Chassity Brown (pictured) scored a team-high 16 points, while Brett Benzio recorded her first career double-double. Women's Hoops Plays Host to Ragin' Cajuns Wednesday at 7 The Tulane Green Wave return home to Fogelman Arena to host the Louisiana-Lafayette women's basketball team Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tulane won it's home opener on November 14, but has dropped three-straight on the road. Chassity Brown is averaging 7.3 points per game for the Wave this season. Women's Basketball Suffers Road Loss at LSU, 63-47 Brittany Lindsey scored 11 of her 15 points in the second half, and the Green Wave defense turned in another solid effort, but the Tulane women's basketball team struggled to score early, and never caught up against the LSU Tigers, falling 63-47 Monday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Freshman forward Brett Benzio added eight points and nine rebounds for Tulane. Women's Hoops Takes On LSU Monday in Baton Rouge on CST The Tulane women's basketball team's flurry of early season games continues Monday at LSU, as the Green Wave tangle with the Tigers at 7 p.m. on Cox Sports Television. Tulane is amid a stretch of eight games in 15 days, including four games in seven days. Senior Megan Valicevic chipped in 13 points Friday at VCU. Women's Hoops Tripped Up at VCU in Preseason WNIT The Tulane women's basketball team fell in the Third Round Consolation of the Preseason WNIT at Virginia Commonwealth, 65-49, Friday night at Alltel Pavillion. Sophomore forward Brittney Lindsey led Tulane with 17 points, while senior Megan Valicevic added 13. |
