Chico Rodriguez is in his first year as a member of the Tulane Athletic Equipment staff where he works primarily with the baseball and football teams.

A native of New Roads, La., Rodriguez comes to Tulane after working the previous four years at his alma-mater, Louisiana-Lafayette, where he worked with the Cajuns' football, soccer and softball teams. In addition, Rodriguez worked as an undergrad at Northwestern State from 1996-99 where he was part of the 1997 and 1999 Southland Conference champions.

Rodriguez completed his degree in general studies from Louisiana-Lafayette in December 2004. He is a certified member of the American Equipment Managers Associated and part of the American Legion Sons of Louisiana.
